The appointee will provide support to various student-oriented activities for undergraduate students in the School of Science. Major duties include providing administrative and logistics support to the student exchange program, co-curricular activities and daily office operations; providing guidance to students on their development plan; managing students’ database; and performing any other duties as assigned. The appointee is expected to work with people with different cultural backgrounds and at different levels. Occasional work outside normal office hours may be required.
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree, preferably with 1-2 years of relevant work experience in the education sector; a strong sense of responsibility; and the ability to work independently and flexibly. Ideal candidates should be self-motivated with good communication and interpersonal skills, a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua), and good knowledge in IT and software applications (including Chinese word processing, Excel, PowerPoint, database management, and website maintenance). Work experience with students and/or at tertiary/educational institutions will be a definite advantage. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
