Front Desk Officer [United Arab Emirates]


 

Faham Doors is looking for a pleasant Front Desk Officer to undertake all receptionist and clerical duties at the reception desk at our head office. You will be the “face” of the company for all visitors and will be responsible for the first impression we make.

The ideal candidate will have a friendly and charming personality while also being very perceptive and disciplined. A customer-oriented approach is essential.

The goal is to make guests and visitors feel comfortable and valued while on our premises.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome all incoming guest.
  • Keep front desk tidy and presentable with all necessary material.
  • Answer questions and address complaints
  • Answer all incoming calls and redirect them or keep messages.
  • Receive letters, packages etc. and distribute them to respective departments/individuals.
  • Prepare outgoing mail by drafting correspondence, securing parcels etc.
  • Assist the marketing team in conducting cold calls.
  • Check, sort, and forward emails.
  • Keep updated records and files.
  • Take up other duties as assigned by the HR Department.
  • Requirements and skills
  • Proven experience as front desk representative, agent, or relevant position.
  • Familiarity with office machines (e.g. fax, printer etc.)Proficient in English and in Arabic (oral and written).
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word)
  • Strong communication and people management skills.
  • Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Minimum High School diploma, additional qualifications will be an added advantage.
  • Proficient in English and in Arabic (oral and written).
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word)
