As an offshore rig mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the drilling rig and all associated equipment. You will be able to see the world, as our projects are across the Middle East, Far East, and Europe.
Your responsibilities as an offshore rig mechanic
- Maintaining and repairing (where necessary) the drill rig and associated equipment.
- To carry out planned maintenance and equipment checks.
- Submit reports detailing any maintenance carried out and any further maintenance required.
- Submit detailed requests for spare parts and maintain stock levels.
Your qualities and experience
You can make your mark as an offshore rig mechanic if you have:
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and heave -compensated drill rigs.
- At least 5 years’ experience in the geotechnical offshore industry.
- Confident and experienced in using Microsoft Office.
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- You are able to work calmly and safely in a demanding environment.

- Your team: You will be part of the Geotech Drilling Department.
- Where you will work: You will be working offshore for our projects, which are mainly located across the Middle East, Far East, and Europe.
- Fulltime/ part- time job: The position of rig mechanic is a full-time job.
