Who are we?
We are The Florian, a new hotel opened in 2021, located at the outskirts of Hoofddorp only few minutes away from Schiphol Airport. We have 150 rooms, 3 multifunctional conference and meeting rooms, a gym, and of course a restaurant & bar.

Who are we looking for?
- You are kind, friendly and hospitable.
- You are reliable and a real team player.
- You are flexible and resilient, so you will handle even the busiest day with a genuine smile. Not to mention the early morning hours :)
- Ideally you are a morning person. In any case, please only apply if you can be present at the hotel at 5.00 on weekdays, and at 6.00 on weekends. (The hotel is easily reachable by public transport from Amsterdam, Haarlem, Leiden and The Hague)
- You speak English. Dutch is a plus.
- You have some experience in the hospitality sector or in direct/face to face customer service. Experience with serving/cooking breakfast is a big pro.
- If you never worked in hospitality, but you enjoy cooking and taking care of people, then don't hesitate to apply, this is the right job for you :)
- You are looking for a long-time employment.

What will be your tasks and responsibilities?
- Providing a warm welcome and a personalized customer experience to our guests.
- Preparing the breakfast buffet.
- Keeping the buffet tidy and restocked, and cooking/baking some on-demand dishes, such as scrambled eggs, pancakes.
- Cleaning up the tables, washing the dishes, assisting guests with special requests.
- After breakfast is finished, cleaning up the buffet, storing away everything.
- Keeping the bar & restaurant area clean during your shift.
