POSITION DETAILS
- Total Maintenance of all Manufacturing equipment
- Fault finding of PLC controlled circuits and the modifications thereof.
- Conversant with single line diagrams and normal electrical circuit diagrams.
- Immediate response to all equipment breakdowns as directed by his Supervisor/ Team Leaders.
- Ensure Production uptime within departmental objectives.
- Ensure safety compliance at all times.
- Ensure to escalate all issues in your shift.
- Assist team members with problem solving
- Required to work a 3 shift pattern, with essential overtime when requested.
- Repairs of problematic equipment in his related field.
- Maintaining HV substations, UPS and Generator equipment
- Operating HV Switch gear
- Maintaining the Compressors equipment
- Maintaining the Waste Water Treatment Plant
P ERFORMANCE MEASURES/ SUCCESS CRITERIA
- Safety: Complete near misses as per requirement
- Quality: Ensure incident report is ready before unit gets to EOL
- Delivery: Support production and eleminate any downtime
- Cost: Continous improvement. Kaizens
- People: Be able to work indivisually and as a team
- Maintenance: PM, CM, AM and ensure back-up is 100% operational
- Environment: Ensure compliance as all time
K NOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES (KSA)
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic PLC knowledge
- Fault findings
- Basic mechanical background
- Knowledge of HT Substations and switchgear
- Knowledge of fire tube boiler equipment will be an advantage
- Knowledge of Waste Water Treatment Plants will be an advantage
- Completed Medium voltage skills modules
- Sub-station power protection/grading knowledge
QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE
- Minimum N3 plus Trade Test Certificate (Electrician)
- Minimum of three years administrative experience
- Minimum of two years High Voltage experience & substation maintenance experience.
- AC/DC Drives working knowledge advantageous
- Compressor knowledge advantageous
- Operating Regulations for High Voltage Systems (ORHVS) advantageous
- Minimum N3 plus Trade Test Certificate (Electrician)
- Minimum of two years High Voltage experience & substation maintenance experience.
- AC/DC Drives working knowledge advantageous
- Atlas Compressor knowledge advantageous
- Knowledge of Waste Water Treatment Plant advantageous
