The team you will be a part of
You will join the System-on-Chip (SoC) Architecture and Specification team in Oulu, Finland. You will have a direct contribution to the new technology development. The support of the team members, the latest products and tools will provide you with a thriving and psychologically safe environment for your daily work on 5G-Advanced and 6G topics.

Your skills and experience
You are proactive and independent. You have communication skills that allow you to feel comfortable in our team and to be a supportive team member. Our language at work is English, so you are fluent in English to be able to work on technical topics with team members. The skill of building networking is a big plus for your role.
Guiding qualifications
- Experience in Matlab, and other programming knowledge (C/C++, python, ...) is a plus.
- Close to graduation with a major in information/communication technology, mathematics or equivalent
- Understanding of digital signal processing mathematics
- Knowledge of algorithm design
We appreciate the following:
- GIT/Gerrit competence
- Jenkins competence

What we offer
Oulu is the Home of Radio. The Nokia site in Oulu has over 40 years of experience in radio research, development and manufacturing in a unique way. A product starts with an idea and comes to an actual product under the same roof. A current focus for the Oulu site is 5G, 5G-Advanced and 6G, including 3GPP standardization, SoC development, HW, SW, validation, testing and verification.
