We are now looking for a Senior Specialist, Group Accounting to join our Group Accounting team in Global F&A organization. Kemira CFO office provides accurate and timely information and drives efficiency improvements through best-in-class finance & accounting and planning & controlling services as well as risk management, treasury, investor relations, M&A operations and IT.
In this fixed term position you will fulfill an important role for the finance department through participating in monthly group reporting process, following up IFRS and other binding legistlation and processing development initiatives in your area. This position is based in Helsinki.
Main accountabilities:
- Prepare timely and accurate Financial Reporting and analyses, incl. Quarterly Releases and Annual Consolidated Financial Statements
- Participate in group consolidation tasks within your responsibility area
- Analyze consolidated income statement, balance sheet, cash flow and notes to ensure correctness of reporting
- Prepare internal instructions to verify harmonized use of accounting policies and IFRS interpretations
- Participate in compliance process development and monitoring
- Participate in implementation of new tools
- Take an active role in initiating and implementing relevant efficiency improvement and automation projects

What you need:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferably in Accounting or Finance
- 1-3 years of Group consolidation or other relevant experience
- Understanding of IFRS and ability to make interpretations
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Financial Reporting and Consolidation tools, preferably HFM, Wdesk, SAP S4 and Microsoft Excel
- Good communication and presentation skills in both Finnish and English
- Ability to work independently
