Bristol City Council’s vision is to play a leading role in driving a city of hope and aspiration where everyone can share in its success. Supporting that vision, the council has prioritised more than fifty transformation projects that it aims to deliver each year.
Bristol continues to invest in ensuring that the organisation has a core team of change professionals to support its transformation ambitions.
A team of Programme & Project Managers; Business Analysts and Project Support Officers has been established since 2012. They’ve brought their diverse professional experience to the table and grown their local authority experience while supporting some very significant changes and improvements. Each year, we review the pipeline of work for the coming year and - when necessary - invite new people to join the team.
We are therefore looking for Programme/Project Support Officers who bring passion and enthusiasm to their work; who thrive in a varied and busy environment; and who derive great satisfaction in delivering work that makes a real difference to people's lives. As well as experienced Programme or Project Officers who may be looking for new challenges, we’re also keen to hear from internal candidates who might be starting out in this type of role.
Bristol City Council is a great place to work. We’re a fantastic team, proud of what we achieve and looking forward to welcoming new people to share in that.
We are happy consider part-time working in this role, with working patterns that include the equivalent of three days per week or more.
