As a Finance & Administration Business Associate you'll be a trusted business advisor. You'll have the opportunity to position IBM for long-term financial growth delivering analysis, and providing insight and innovation into the business. Your Role and Responsibilities
A Finance and Administrative Department Business Associate coordinates the daily workload, timely and accurate processing of routine administrative/accounting transactions and all related tasks received from more experienced accounting professionals and/or directors. It guarantees the delivery of a high quality product. Recommends improvements to existing procedures and processes.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Professional graduated preferably in Financial Careers, in areas such as finance or Accounting.
Lead teams of maximum 10 people, helping them in their daily tasks and in the distribution and measurement of workload, seeking productivity in daily processes.
Responsible for collecting the portfolio of our clients, including monitoring and negotiation. - Good writing and communication
- Advanced handling of Excel (handling of dynamic tables, mathematical formulas, basic knowledge of macros). Basic knowledge of office tools (Power Point, Word)
- End customer management
- Teamwork
- Leadership of small teams
- Problem resolution
- Analysis of data
- Bargaining power
- Excellent working knowledge of accounts receivable (AR) covering credit and collection processes.
- English B2
- At least 2 years of experience in administrative activities in companies in the real or service sector.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Availability to work on Colombian holidays (depending on the calendars of the countries in which the operation is carried out).
- Availability to work at different times according to the needs of the country's operation (9-hour shifts between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM from Monday to Saturday.
- Experience in multinational and/or multicultural environments will be valued.
- Extensive working knowledge of SAP will be valued.
- Experience in customer service will be an advantage.
- Having training in Six Sigma or Agile will be an advantage.
