Job Responsibilities
- Manage the HR Management System and ensure accuracy of employee data
- Perform the full aspect of recruitment activities and may screen resumes and applications, interview & shortlist, reference checks, new hire onboarding administration and orientation
- Conduct exit interviews, analyse turnover trends with recommendations
- Process work pass applications/renewals/cancellations
- Handle enquiries from employees on HR policies and practices
- Manage the monthly uniforms inventory, distribute uniforms and safety boots to the employees
- Work closely with the operations supervisors/managers to effectively implement HR programmes and processes
- Responsible for HR reporting on leave utilisation, attendance, staff movement through the HRMS
- Manage absentee payroll claim for the trainings attended
- Organise employees’ recognition and celebration activities
- Participate in ad-hoc HR projects & initiatives and other HR administration as assigned
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources or its equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of HR generalist experience preferably in the Service or High-Tech manufacturing environment
- Good working knowledge of Singapore Employment Act and HR practices
- Meticulous with an eye for detail, and able to work under tight timeline
- Team player, positive attitude with high initiative and good follow-up skill
- Good interpersonal and communication skills in English and Chinese to be able to work closely with Mandarin speaking supervisors/managers to effectively implement HR programmes and processes
- Proficient with MS Office in Words, Excel and Powerpoint
