Head of Operations, Philippines Office [Philippines]


 

Playbook is the best all-in-one Software platform for sports, youth, and community businesses. Our platform helps business owners manage their organizations through registration, scheduling, and payment tools. We’re based in NYC, but are looking to expand our presence, and are looking to hire an experienced manager in the strategy and operations, who can serve as the Head of our Philippines office.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Sourcing and recruiting top talent for technical and non-technical positions in our new Philippines office.
  • Managing the recruitment process from sourcing to hiring. This will include screening resumes, conducting interviews, and negotiating offers.
  • Keeping our employees in the Philippines accountable, sticking to deadlines, and ensuring process implementation across the Development, Marketing, Sales, Sales Enablement, and Customer Support spheres.
  • Executing on Playbook's strategic plans, leveraging individuals in the Philippines to drive tangible growth and value for the company.
  • Navigating local rules and regulations, using extensive knowledge of the Philippines' job market to ensure compliance.
  • Constantly communicating with Playbook's team in the USA, to ensure that predetermined targets are being achieved, and providing feedback on office-wide process efficiency.
  • Tracking and aggregating metrics and output from both employees in the US and the Philippines, to assess productivity.

Qualifications:

  • At least 8-10 years of tangible leadership experience at a tech company.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong work ethic and self-starter mentality.
  • Dedication to grow with the company.
  • Sports fan is a plus, but not required.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary on offer: initial base salary of 45,000 Philippine pesos, plus aggressive incentives for first successfully filling job roles, and then ensuring output and productivity, and a predetermined performance growth plan.
  • Flexible working hours, although you may need to overlap with NYC working hours (EST) for up to 5 hours a day.
  • Direct report to our CEO, Josh Marcus.

Pay: Php40,000.00 - Php55,000.00 per month
