Qualifications:

Required:
  • If you have a current teaching license OR If you are a retired teacher OR If you are applying to coach at the High School Level:
    • Current Resume
    • CHSAA Online Coaches Test (Current Year)
    • NFHS Concussion Certificate (or an in-person concussion course completion certificate)
    • 1st Aid/CPR/AED Certification (Current)
  • If you do not have a current teaching license:
    • Current Resume
    • CHSAA Online Coaches Test (Current Year)
    • NFHS Concussion Certificate (or an in-person concussion course completion certificate)
    • 1st Aid/CPR/AED Certification (Current)
*PLEASE NOTE - For non-teaching applicants, upon acceptance of any high school coaching vacancy in Pueblo City Schools, you will be required to register for a CHSAA one-year coaching registration and/or permanent coaching registration. You will not be allowed to coach until registration requirements have been completed and verified.

Preferred:
Previous coaching experience and/or successful participation in athletics at the high school or collegiate level

Desirable:
Previous playing experience in the sport of Basketball
