As subject matter expert, this role is to provide excellent HR partnership and deliver high quality HR activities to business to achieve short/ middle/long term company goals. This role could be potential successor to people BP in a few years. This role is based in Shanghai.
Responsibilities:
- Be accountable for partnership and collaboration with assigned businesses, commit to business success in China. Be the first go-to and window person for responsible businesses. Influence and facilitate the changes in terms of organizational change, or cultural change.
- Collaborate with recruiter for high quality hiring, ensure we bring in the good candidate with right competencies and growth potential. Execute appropriately in recruitment process both online and offline, such as REQ approval, salary proposal, reference check, etc.
- Support to smooth integration for newly joined employees by means of orientation, red carpet program.
- Lead performance management in responsible departments, contribute to building a high performance culture in RS China. Provide performance coaching, 1st-line Management Skill coaching, PIP, Disciplinary actions, etc.
- Support Business Head on talent management for respective organization, in terms of talent identification, development acceleration, succession pipeline management, retention.
- Play an active role as the subject matter expert of organization development among the team. Lead local projects/ initiatives in the area.
- Contribute to enhance the employee engagement level, leverage RS club for employee engagement initiatives. Support to various employee communication activities.
- Ensure operational effectiveness & efficiency in employment, probation and contract management process, with high compliance to the global/ APAC HR guidance/ policies.
- Participate as member of ad hoc HR project team for local/ regional/ global initiatives.
- Be the expert of HR System- SAP.
- 4-5 years of experience in HR generalist role (MNC preferred), sound knowledge of employment law and statutory requirements in the geography. Additional HR project experience will be a plus.
- Be able to work independently. Strong problem solving skill. Good track record in the previous working experience.

- Good communication skill to influence key stakeholders to reach out agreement.
