Accommodation / Housekeeping Manager
Are you an experience Hospitality professional with great communication skills? Do you focus on quality and have an eye for precision and detail? We are looking for a supervisor who can guide and direct our domestic cleaning and catering staff to ensure a high standard of service is maintained.
Positioned as our ‘in-field’ supervisor, you will also be responsible for the collaboration of room cleanliness audits, food standard audits and accommodation reports. You will manage guest relations and be the key point of contact for guest related enquiries, escalating as required to management.
This is the perfect opportunity to build your remote site experience by bringing your significant experience in the Hospitality/Hotels industry and your demonstrated supervisory & leadership capacity.
Key duties will include:
- manage staffing rosters, room cleaning & maintenance scheduling
- ensure residents are complying with check in and check out policies
- implement hazard identification, risk assessment and safe work SOP's
- training of staff across both domestic cleaning and food services
- auditing our Housekeeping department to ensure room cleaning standards are met
- assistance with accommodation bookings and office duties
Who are we looking for?
You will be safety first focused, have a solutions mindset and excellent analytical skills along with proficiency across accommodation management software and generally strong technology skills.
You are the 'backbone' of our remote sites team and will contribute extensively to the effective day to day operations and service solution for our customers, ensuring that each experience is as close to that feeling of being in a home away from home.
It is essential you are a team player, happy to assist and get 'hands on' in the retail shop, even make beds, clean ablution facilities and other utility tasks as required.
This position is a FIFO 5/2 role from Mackay, Townsville or Rockhampton. Our Accommodation Administrators are required to work up to12 hours per day.
