We are not a recruiter. GI endoscopy centers need CRNA's who are certified with a minimum of 2 years of experience. Ability to work in a fast paced environment as well as work independently. No recruiters please. Salary offered is $800-850/! day.
Reporting Relationships:
The CRNA reports to the Lead CRNA and the operating surgeon. The CRNA works closely with all OR personnel to ensure adequate patient outcomes during and after surgery. The CRNA must be able to communicate well with the recovery room staff. The CRNA works closely with IAM staff (Lead CRNA) for general direction including but not limited to coordination of work schedule, personal time off, clinical and professional issues, etc.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- CRNAs must hold a valid RN licensure in the state of practice as well as an Advanced Practice Recognition and current CRNA certification.
- Candidate must be in good standing with the AANA.
- Graduate from an approved School of Nursing and hold a current state license as a registered nurse.
- Graduated from an approved Nurse Anesthesia program accredited by the AANA Council on Cert! ification.
- Successfully completed the certification e! xamination administered by the AANA Council on Certification.
- Comply with current biennial recertification as defined by the AANA Council of Recertification.
- Hold current Official Recognition as a CRNA.
- Experienced as a CRNA for at least 2 years.
- Candidates must be able to perform all areas of anesthesia especially local IV monitored anesthesia. Experienced in working independently â" without oversight of an MDA.
Ability to maneuver stretchers, patients, equipment and wheelchairs with a weight of at least 200lbs. ROM with extremities, visual acuity adequate to read small print and equipment computer boards.
Basic Duties:
- Evaluating and preparing patients assigned to his/her care for the required anesthetic to be administered.
- Administer anesthetics as required by the physician and the patientâs physical stat! us.
- Perform post anesthesia duties in accordance with departmental policies.
- Must maintain license requirements and perform non-patient and other related duties as assigned.
