Manager, Donor Advised Funds and Gift Planning Data


 Use your skills as an experienced data, project and program manager to take your career to the next level as the Manager of Donor Advised Funds and Gift Planning Data for UCLA's Office of Gift Planning. This is a great opportunity to make an impact as you work with our donors and serve as a strong analytical partner to our Director of Planned Gift Administration on Donor Advised Funds (DAF) and the data management of our Gift Planning efforts and initiatives. In managing our DAF program and the data of our Office of Gift Planning, your work will help to ensure the charitable interests of our donors is fulfilled. Under the direction of the Director of Planned Gift Administration, you will oversee the UCLA DAF program and will provide database and information management in support of all planned gifts and planned gift marketing and communication at UCLA. As our Manager of Donor Advised Funds and Gift Planning Data, you will work with Director on overall DAF policy and program planning, development, administration, management and implementation. You will oversee information regarding DAF policies and procedures, provide customer and consultative services to development staff, leadership and other stakeholders on donor advised fund program and will oversee the acceptance, administration, distribution and processing of gifts from DAFs. As our Manager, you will provide DAF and planned gift data analysis, reporting and quality assurance to ensure accuracy of data and develop new processes for tracking to assist in effective and efficient data management and smooth operations of the DAF program. You will also explore and implement new processes and procedures as well as develop and produce a variety of custom reports for Development constituents. In addition, you will develop expertise in the Blackbaud CRM system to serve as a chief resource for all planned giving data, providing consultation and information to colleagues, both proactively and as requested.

1. Minimum of three to five years' experience in a highly constituent-driven environment analyzing, managing, manipulating and tracking data to include prior experience with relational databases.

2. Ability to accurately and thoroughly prepare and evaluate prospect/donor information, transactions and activities and report on trends and other related tendencies.

3. Creative and resourceful with strong analytical and critical thinking skills to comprehensively evaluate a wide variety of information, transactions and activities, identify and resolve problems.

4. Experience providing a high level of customer service and responding to inquiries in a prompt and efficient manner; ability to deliver exemplary service to a wide variety and level of constituents.

5. High proficiency in Excel including ability to work with data with a high degree of accuracy and to create and maintain databases and complex spreadsheets; strong proficiency in other applications of Microsoft suite with ability to learn other software/applications in a prompt and efficient manner.

6. Knowledge of CRM or other equivalent fundraising and/or client driven sales, marketing or business development database systems.
