VP Prime Client Service

As a Barclays Vice President Prime Client Service, you’ll be the central point of contact for hedge fund clients, building & developing deep relationships across our client base by providing best in class service through proactive engagement, delivering solutions and value-add content. This is an exciting opportunity to work with internal teams to deliver a smooth go-live experience for new clients and new funds/products for existing clients. You’ll also provide client support and SME for Prime Services web portal, reporting and on-line tools.

Salary / Rate Minimum: $155,000
Salary / Rate Maximum: $250,000

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. What will you be doing?

  • Building and developing deep relationships across the client base
  • Providing proactive client connectivity through regular client reviews and meetings
  • Maintaining consistent issue tracking and coordination across internal stakeholders to achieve optimal client outcomes
  • Providing product expertise and client color to internal stakeholders on platform enhancements and new initiatives
  • Leading and overseeing issuance and collection of margin calls and managing the trade capture process and the settlement cycle
  • Monitoring asset servicing including dividend processing, tax withholding and corporate actions
  • Providing Sales and Account Management with regular updates on the clients’ activity and trends
  • Ensuring that the needs of the clients’ third-party vendors such as administrators are met

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree, plus four years of experience in a client facing role and related product OTC Clearing, FX Prime Brokerage, equities, or fixed income
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Possess excellent presentation, persuasive speaking, negotiation, and oral skills
  • Proficiency with the MS Office suite of programs, Excel and Powerpoint

  • Client focused with high standards around quality of the service
  • Capability to multi-task with great attention to detail and an ability to work under pressure and to deadlines, and to prioritize effectively
  • Good general knowledge of markets and operations and settlement functions
  • Ability to build solid relationships internally and with clients through daily interactions and office meetings

Where will you be working?

You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 32-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
