A General Laborer works in a manufacturing facility and performs general labor tasks within and around the plant.
Observes all safety rules and regulations including use of personal protective equipment and material handling
1-Regularly check cooling units to ensure they are working properly and not frozen. Take proper steps to defrost units.
2-Monitor cooler room temperatures and rotate product.
3-Legibly document batch, total cups and pounds per batch (using conversion formula).
4-Legibly document temperatures from each cooling unit.
5-Legibly document product temperatures from beginning and end of batch.
6-Collect data logger and turn in to QC
7-Locate and place data logger in cooler when having product changeover.
8- Push (bakery style) carts from filling room to blast cooler and from blast cooler to packing room.
9-Ability to push/maneuver carts that can weigh up to 250lbs when fully loaded.
10-Periodically work in a cold environment with temperatures as low as 9 degrees.
11-Perform daily tasks safely and in a timely manner to not delay the production line.
12-Understand what CCP means and the importance to maintain product profile/spec.
13-Properly communicate any deviation in the process to the immediate Team Lead or Supervisor.
