BAT ITALY IS LOOKING FOR A DIGITAL MANAGER

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

The Digital Manager will support digital platforms strategy for Italy with focus on website, UX and SEO as well as being responsible for the deployment of them across multiple digital channels.


Reports to:
South East Europe Digital Manager

Markets in scope: Italy


WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Design and sustain new category websites and UX strategies for Italy
  • Collaboration for global website initiatives such as any unbranded multicategory platforms
  • Own the consumer interaction and navigation through Digital platforms aiming at achieving a single consumer view fully integrated and coordinated
  • Drive and manage SEO for platforms
  • Manage Digital key performance indicators and drive business intelligence & analytics developments
  • Occasionally, will be required to travel across SEE markets to conduct market visit, align with end markets and ensure brand programmes/activities deliver results
  • Have a leadership behaviour to direct reports and peers in order to provide peoples development when required
  • Adhering to and conducting activities in accordance with the laws and bylaws rules related to the environmental protection, safety at work and fire protection, and internal EHS standards and procedures of BAT Group
  • Adhering to local legal framework, internal standards, rules and procedures of BAT Group
  • Adhering to business continuity management

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • University degree
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Italian language
  • At least 6 years of experience at a Marketing executive level in a FMCG company that has incorporated a solid Digital channels experience
  • Excellent project and teams management skills
  • Proven track record in Digital Marketing and Technology
  • SDLC proficiency
  • Technical knowledge in digital platforms development, support and UI/UX enhancements
  • Business Intelligence domain and tools (PowerBI, Tableau or similar, ideally DataIku)
  • Ecommerce platforms and CMS proficiency (Magento preferred)
  • Consumer engagement and Brand Marketing knowledge
  • Effective communication skills developing and maintaining relationships with external suppliers
  • Outstanding entrepreneurial spirit
  • Effective negotiation and influencing skills
