What would you do as part of our GBS team?
You will be helping us in maintaining and reconciling accurate financial records in our shared services environment, including general ledgers, journals, inter-company transactions, fixed asset accounting, reporting and consolidation.
The Record to Report team collaborates with departments to ensure that financial information is accurate and up-to-date, and supports internal and external audits by providing necessary information and documentation. The team is responsible for the month-end and year-end close process, reconciling accounts and identifying and resolving discrepancies, this includes tasks such as providing support to other departments and looking for ways to increase efficiency.
Core skills
- In this role, you are required to ensure that all financial transactions are recorded in the correct period and in accordance with the company policies.
- You will help in the planning of budget and forecast, and support in the preparation of accruals, amortizations, and adjusting journal entries.
- You will need to collaborate with other local or global departments, such as sales, operations, and finance, to gather and analyze data for financial reporting.
- You will add value to our business by assisting in the implementation and maintenance of internal controls, and identifying and implementing process improvements.
- You will be an individual contributor as a part of a team, with a targeted and focused scope in analyzing financial data and providing team lead and management with insightful reports.
