Store In-charge [United Arab Emirates]


 

Job Purpose

A store manager is responsible for facilitating and supervising daily operations at a store to make sure that employees work together effectively to make sales and contribute to shop upkeep. Their duties include motivating sales teams, creating business strategies, developing promotional material, training new staff, store inventory, and resource management.

Principal Accountabilities

ü Maximizing profitability and setting/meeting sales targets, including motivating staff.

ü Seek ways to better promote the store, the product line and service within the store.

ü Maintain proper inventory levels, ensure stocking, implement purchasing plans and maintain contact with suppliers to ensure maximum efficiency in meeting sales goals.

ü Overseeing pricing and stock control.

ü Implement cross-training of employees and store supervisor to maintain productivity at all times.

ü Manage all controllable costs with a view to maintaining profitability.

ü Develop and maintain a schedule for employees and promotions centered on holiday sales and other cycles.

ü Maintaining statistical and financial records.

ü Managing budgets

ü Dealing with customer queries and complaints.

ü Ensure the store remains clean and presentable at all times.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
