Job Description: We are looking for a reliable Safety Manager to ensure everyone in the company complies with health and safety laws. You will also be responsible for establishing policies that will create and maintain a safe workplace. As a safety manager you must have excellent attention to detail to identify hazards. You will also be able to discover opportunities for improving conditions and execute various safety programs. The ability to communicate guidelines to a multidisciplinary workforce is essential. The goal is to ensure the workplace meets all legal expectations and actively supports occupational health and safety. Roles & Responsibilities: implementing of (PTW) Permit to work system and controlling Develop, implement and maintain plans and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable health, safety and environmental laws, regulations and standards Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions also labour colony inspection Responsible for education of new and current employees on hazardous material safety, industrial hygiene and emergency response procedure Monitor and evaluate the workplace to ensure compliance with OSHA and related regulations Conducting quality inspections prior to consultants inspections & preparing quality observation report Preparing method statements and risk assessments for specific job and conducting emergency mock drills as per legislations ie., fire drills, first aid, rescue and emergency services Develop and recommend strategies to avoid / or minimize hazards Skills Required: Develop and implement strategies that improve our culture and reduce injuries, environmental impact & risk of property damage and assure HSE compliance Conducting safety Audits periodically for upgrading the HSE levels Ensuring the display of different safety promotional posters to educate & train the workforce to reach "ZERO" accident Preparing SWMS & HIRA by mutually consenting with execution, safety & induction depts. conducting monthly award programms for awareness about safety Preparation of HSE budgets Conducting hazard analysis, including storage, handling and transportation of materials Performs and reviews accidents / incidents investigation, assist managers, engineers supervisors tlo determine accident, incident causes and corrective actions, and ensure the implementation of the same Conduting tool box meeting and maintaining the records Maintenance and distribution of current HSE documentations, work permits, checklists etc Ability in producing reports and developing relevant policies Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities BSc/BA in safety management or relevant field is preferred
