The Financial, Regulatory and Risk Reporting Specialist ensures timely and accurate financial, regulatory and risk reporting to senior management, regulators, auditors and other relevant stakeholders, in line with regulatory and statutory requirements. They work closely with the Financial, Regulatory and Risk Reporting Managers to provide insight and analysis over the financials and accounts within their remit. They collaborate with relevant stakeholders to provide complete and comprehensive reporting in the financial books and records of the Bank, for the effective management of financial and accounting risk. The role is to deliver and support the regulatory and tax reporting for DB Seoul. Additionally, he/she has to assist and support DB Seoul CFO to deliver the finance franchise in being the trusted financial advisor to internal and external stakeholders.
Role Responsibilities and Tasks
- Prepare regulatory reports and perform the required regulatory limit monitoring
- Ensure timely and accurate submission to the regulators and other statutory organization
- Support the implementation of the front-to-back controls and the enhancements of the regulatory reporting processes
- Support ad-hoc queries from internal and external stakeholders
Experience/ Exposure
- Professional accountant qualification with audit experience are preferable
- Banks Accounting / Finance working experiences are preferable
- Hands-on experiences with regulatory reporting and/or head office reporting are preferable
Education/ Qualifications
- Strong IFRS and K-IFRS Accounting knowledge
- Strong communication skills in English & Korean
- Advanced skills of MS Excel
- Skills on other advanced data analysis tools such as Alteryx, Tableau are preferred
- Coding knowledge (i.e., VB, Python, C++) are preferred
