CATS Product Engineer
Job Description and Requirements
This position holds product engineering responsibilities within the CATS and SmartMRC MDP mask synthesis product team Responsibilities include:
- Expert user of CATS and SmartMRC software to understand current capability and limitation.
- Product validation and quality engineering– work with project team to design specific test strategies for features being developed
- Participate in product reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, and test strategies
- Serve as the technical liaison among cross functional teams and customers to drive closure of open issues.
- Train internal teams and external customers
- Strong problem-solving skills required with the ability to work in a fast paced and distributed team environment.
- Great communication skills (written and verbal)
- Very good knowledge of photolithography and UNIX/Linux are required. Scripting language (Perl, & Python) as well as debugging in C and C++ knowledge is a plus.
- A self-motivated quick learner who can work independently, and be a team player when working within multi-regional cross functional teams
- Proficiency in mask dataprep methodologies and technologies, who have demonstrated experience in the complete mask tape out cycle.
- Knowledge of Synopsys’ mask synthesis software tools and industry best-practice software development methodologies
