Complete Description
Education: Two years experience in physician recruitment, marketing or healthcare or working as an administrative assistant may be equivalent.
Experience: Must be proficient in Microsoft software, specifically Word, Excel, and Power Point to generate reports (including graphics), create and maintain databases and create communications. Must have above average organization skills.
Other Requirements: Mus! t demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills and! interpersonal skills to communicate with physician applicants and senior administrative staff. Must be able to function independently and prioritize assignments.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates the establishment of new medical staff and mid-level providers in the Clinic system. Assists with State, County and occupational licenses and certifications. Coordinates orientation activities (relocation, physical exam, office decor, liability insurance, internal announcements, photograph, hospital orientation, etc.) with Credentialing, Facilities, clinical departments, and others to ensure timelines are met for anticipated date of hire.
- Coordinates the interview and new hire processes. Prepares itinerary for visiting physician candidates and mid-level providers (Psychologists, Optometrists, PA's, NP's, CRNA's) and ensures parties are notified in a timely manner. Maintains positive relationship with licensing agencies, realtors, search firms, and! other groups used as resources. Ensures hiring documents are prepared per procedure for approval by the Board of Directors. Prepares Employment Agreements as directed by the CEO and Director and ensures documents are attached as appropriate.
- Screens applicants for mid-level practitioner positions (PA, NP, CRNA, etc.) and refers to clinical departments for interview. Checks references as appropriate and follows departmental procedure for reference verifications. Ensures adequate supply of recruitment materials.
- Develops and places advertising for open positions and maintains accurate record of publication dates and expense. Plans advertising to ensure continuous publication of needs.
- Develops and ensures the timely and accurate production of reports (interview and relocation expenses, CV log, database, web page, etc.)
- Provides direction to medical staff for procedural and organizational questions concerning licensing, DEA, certifications,! and CME. Remains abreast of CME requirements and provides information ! on programs.
